The aim of this descriptive research was to study the learning process and to find the guidelines for developing the learning achievement for nursing students in maternal and newborn nursing and midwifery 2. The conceptual frameworks were applied using the System Theory and the Reconsidering Bloom's Taxonomy Theory (Bloom, 1982) to develop the data collection instruments. The sample composed of 84 fourth years nursing students from College of Asia Scholars. Data collection was carried out by questionnaires and focus group discussion (CVI = 0.86 and Crobarch’s coefficient = 0.79). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis for qualitative research.
Results of the study:
1. The opinions of nursing student approach were at a high agreement level of learning achievement of nursing students in maternal and newborn nursing and midwifery 2 in every ranking from the highest to the lowest respectively as follow teaching quality domain, Cognitive domain, Affective domain and Psychomotor domain (Mean = 4.09, 4.03, 4.02 and 3.94) (SD = .62, .69, .65 and .63) in orderly.
2. The guidelines for developing of learning achievement were 1) course design, 2) preparation process and 3) creation a positive attitude towards learning.
