Abstract
The objective of this research was to studied the Disability Health Status, Quality of Life and Environment of Disabilities in the Project of Disability Knowledge Management and Disability Learning Center for Development Sustainable Quality of Life. Methodology of this research were qualitative and quantitative methods. The sample group of 9 Top star Disabilities were selected by the Project manager. The research instruments were the In-depth interview form and Assessment of Health status of Disability.
The results of the research revealed that: 1) Health status Aspect: the most of disabilities were participated in the project, they had congenital disease such as Hypertension, diabetes, Sclerosis, Tuberculosis of Bones and Gout, after they joined the project; the disabilities have different activities and routines to growing vegetables by requires action; seed and soil preparation, also watering every day, harvesting, delivery and distribution, effect to good physical and mental health of disabilities. It was found that 8 normal body mass index persons and 1 overweight. All of 9 people had normal nutritional status level. 2) Quality of Life Aspect found that: disabilities feel valuable, take care themselves and self-reliant on the income generated, including the valuable in society that can help people in society consume non chemical vegetables. That is not harmful to health and damage to natural and 3) The Environment Aspect found that: Disabilities have a society, have friends, have created a network of knowledge sharing between the disabled and grow non-chemical vegetables together. They had an activity to visit the other vegetable field, and use the results of the sharing of knowledge to improved and developed their own vegetable fields, to continuously expand and increase productivity, Reflect that; the environment of the disabled has changed for the better, and benefit to themselves, family and society.
