The objectives of this research were to: 1) compare between before and after learning of grade-7 students’ creative thinking ability through STEM education learning and 2) compare between before and after learning of the students’ learning achievement through STEM education learning. The sample used in the study consisted of 36 grade-7 students from Classroom No. 1/2 in Noen Sang Wittayakarn School, Noen Sang District, Nong Bualampoo Province, during the second semester of the 2018 academic year. The sample group was selected through a random sampling using classrooms as sampling units. The study followed the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design procedure for experiment. The research tools included:
1) 8 lesson plans on STEM education learning, 2) a creative thinking ability test and 3) a learning achievement test. The collected data were analyzed by means of computing arithmetic mean, standard deviation and a t-test.
1. The students’ creative thinking ability at the close of instruction was found to be significantly higher than their pretest score at the .01 level of significance; and
2. The students’ learning achievement at the close of instruction was found to be significantly higher than their pretest score at the .01 level of significance.
