This article aims to present the content of proactive learning management, techniques for teaching in the 21st century, it was a learning management process in which the learners take action and used the thinking process about what they have done. Learning activities were organized under two basic assumptions, there are learning a human effort, and each person has different ways of learning in which students would be changed roles from knowledge recipients towards participation in knowledge creation. Encouraging students to create knowledge by themselves from proactive learning and active learning, it was a learning-centered teaching activity that involves reading, writing, responding, and problem analysis. Also for students to used advanced thinking processes including analysis, synthesis and evaluation to be able to create innovations that meet the needs of students and society with rapid change in the 21st century.
