The objectives of the research were to: study personal factors behavior of tourists in Khon Kaen
province and to study the factors affecting the decision in travel to Khon Kaen province. The sample
group used in the research consisted of the consumers who have traveled and have been to Khon Kaen
province were 400 people, uses equal Quota sampling and Purposive sampling. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean (), standard deviation (SD), Independent Sample t-test, (f-
test), and multiple comparison according to LSD (Least Significant Difference).
The results:
1. Most of the respondents were female, between 31-40 years of age, have a bachelor's
degree or equivalent Occupation Private Company employees, with an average monthly income of
20,001 - 30,000 baht, single status, domiciled in the northeast.
2. The samples had the behavior to make decision to travel in Khon Kaen province with
information on tourism operations, but not enough and need more information. The most was spend 1-2 days traveling the cultural, seen on the media and internet, come to travel by yourself by car
holidays and public holidays / according to festivals study tourism information from the internet, stay at
hotels visit Nong Waeng Temple, will come back to visit Khon Kaen again, if there is an opportunity,
the will recommend other people to travel in Khon Kaen. The level affecting of factors tourism decision
making behavior in Khon Kaen province, the importance to the overall picture was at the highest level.
When considering in each aspect found that culture and society was the highest, government policies and
regulations, transportation, price, marketing promotion, and location respectively.
3. The results of the analysis of factors affecting the decision to travel in Khon Kaen province;
it was found that tourists with different age, education, occupation, marital status and domicile were
