The objectives of this research were: 1) to compare the critical thinking ability on Ayutthaya Kingdom of Mathayomsuksa 2 students who received historical learning management method before and after learning, 2) to compare the learning achievements on the subject of Ayutthaya Kingdom. of secondary school students who have been organized to learn by historical methods before and after learning. The sample consisted of 35 students in the second semester of the academic year 2021, Aoyama 2 School, Pho Tak District, Nong Khai Province. The research was conducted using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research consisted of 1) learning management plans on historical method, 2) achievement test on critical thinking ability, 3) achievement test on history. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent samples. Results of this study were: 1) Students who learnt by historical method had the ability to think critically. The mean score before learning was 22.49 or 56.21% and the students had the mean score after learning at 33.60 or 84.0% respectively and the mean score after leaning was higher than before learning critical thinking skill at the .01 level. 2) Students who learnt by historical method had learning achievement on history before learning 19.68 or 49.21% and the mean score after learning at 33.51 or 83.79% respectively. The mean score after learning was higher than before learning achievement at the .01 level.
