Action Research aimed to study the general concept direction for leadership development of holistic health care of volunteers. Objectives specific: 1. to know the way of life and the work of village health volunteer, 2. create an ideology of volunteerism in leadership for service, and 3. To provide volunteer of holistichealth care knowledge in Buddhist Thai ways.
The target group were 16 persons. 4 phases: 1. study concepts, theories, and general information questionnaires, 2. leadership and holistic health care designed to achieve 3. objectives. Phase 2: to practice registration, answering the preliminary assessment, job opening, objectives informing, introducing, and activities. Phase 3: post-activities evaluation, and phase 4: follow-up evaluation after activities for 4 weeks (24 days). The quantitative analysis was analyzed by quantifying percentage, x ̅, SD. after development.
Research results: There were 16 persons in (100%) age 56-60 years old (25.00%) and 60 years old was (43.75%) Buddhism, marital status was (62.50%), and primary education was (50.00%). The period a volunteer was 1-5 years was (37.50%), maximum 30 years old, minimum was two months, the status in the community being a village / community committee members (75.00%), and has previously received 2 awards was (12.50%). Good health and no disease was (43.75%), disease was (56.25%), and including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, but everyone can control it.
There was leadership in the allservice aspects before training quite a high level were (x ̅=3.44, SD.= 0.55).after the training had a high level were (x ̅= 3.56, SD.= 0.60)
Holistic health care all aspects before the training was at a high level were (x ̅= 4.34, SD.= 0.75) and after the training also had a high level were (x ̅=4.30, SD.= 0.73).
Follow-up after the training 4 weeks (24 days) of this workshop. Make the village health volunteers have a close relationship, more listen to each other, understanding, very helpful, and village health volunteers had applied for holistic health care in the Thai Buddhist ways, making them feel comfortable and able to chant and meditate every day. The development of service in holistic health care can be applied to all health service desks.
