The purposes of this study were: 1) to develop Child-centered learning activities by Jigsaw approach together with K-W-L technique on topic of ASEAN for grade 1 graduate diploma in teaching profession students. 2) to study learning achievement on the topic of ASEAN with an average score that passed the criterion 85% and 85 % of all students passed the criterion. The research target was 30 grade 1 graduate diploma in teaching profession students in academic year 2016 at North Eastern University.
The research Methodology was VTAPER Model together with One Shot Case Study. This research instruments consisted of 4 lesson plans 12 hours, K-W-L Work sheets, achievement test (30 objective and 2 subjective tests) and 20 satisfactory questionnaires.
The research findings:
1. The 4 ASEAN Topic Learning Plans were good quality 100 % (x ̅=4.98).
2. Students achievement average was 90.00% of total scores and 96.67% of total numbers of students reached the prescribed criterion.
3. The students’ satisfaction towards instruction by Jigsaw approach together with K-W-L technique showed that an average was highly satisfied (x ̅=4.86) to consider the item, it was found the students agree with the three levels as follows: lesson plan activities (x ̅=4.82), learning activities (x ̅=4.86) and lecturers (x ̅=4.89) respectively.
