The purposes of this action research were: 1) To assess the problems of CAS's Document System 2) To develop and evaluat the efficiency of the Information System to enhance the efficiency of the Document System, CAS. There were 2 Steps, Step 1: Study the problems of CAS's DS. 4 Key formants were the Head of Administrative Officer, 2 Chief Executive Officers / System Administrators, and 1 System Administrator. In depth Interview technique was used and data analyzed by content analysis to conclude in an inductive. Step 2: To developed and evaluated the efficiency of the IS to enhance the efficiency of the DS, CAS. PHP programming language and MySQL database were used. Action Research was based on the concept of Kemmis & McTaggart (1988). 2 cycles of action were : 1) Planning 2) Action 3) Observation 4) Reflection And Evaluated the efficiency of the IS to enhance the efficiency of the DS. The purposive samplings were 5 teachers and support personnel. The questionnaire was used to collect the data. Content validity of questionnaire was 0.67-1.00. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, percentage, mean and standard deviation, and content analysis.
The research results were as follows:
1) The problems of IS, CAS found that; the Key in formants 7 opionions there were 3 aspects of the document system was 1) The important; Although the Organization and Chief Executive Officers prioritized the IS, but were lack of participation and motivation of personnel to develop the system. 2) Low efficiency of Job performance that was reduces the performance and lack of speed and high error, and 3) Problems and Obstacles were DS has resulted in errors and the problem between department in Organization.
2) To develop the efficiency of the IS to enhance the efficiency of the DS, CAS found that; the IS to enhance the quality of the DS consisted of 7 menus, including: 1) Document Collection System (DCS), 2) Document Delivery System (DDS), 3) Circular Delivery System (CDS), 4) Archives System (AS), 5) Setting up the Registration Number (SRN), 6) Setting the Organization Code Number (SOCN), and 7) Calendar System (CS) and can enhance the efficiency of the Document System. The overall efficiency of the IS to enhance the efficiency of the IS was as follows. The Important had the most of them was at the moderate level ( ̅ = 3.00, S.D. = 0.82), The benefits of using had the most of them were at the highest level ( ̅ = 4.55, S.D. = 0.58). The knowledge was mostly at the moderate level ( ̅ = 4.00, S.D. = 0.82). The problems were at the moderate level ( ̅ = 3.60, S.D. = 0.81) and The efficiency was at the moderate level ( ̅ = 3.60, S.D. = 0.81) and The efficiency had the most of them were at the moderate ( ̅ = 3.80, S.D. = 0.56). CAS can was this system for developing the IS and the DS of the CAS office further.
