The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the situation of current and desire in competency development of administrators in schools under Khon Kaen Primary Education Service Area Office 5. 2) to create the strategy of competency development of administrators in schools under Khon kaen Primary Education Service Area Office 5. The samples using in this study were 154 administrators, 144 heads of substance learning group, 18 teachers in academic group and 18 chair mans of committee, total 334 people. The research instrument was 5 Level Rating Scale with Reliability Coefficient = 0.98, IOC ranged between 0.85-1.00. Researcher analyzed data using computer programs.
The research findings found that:
According to the research study in condition of the Strategy of Competency Development of Administrators in schools under Khon Kaen Primary Education Service Area Office 5 as follows:
1. In current condition of the Strategy of Competency Development of Administrators in schools under Khon Kaen Primary Education Service Area Office 5, overall in operations were at medium level and the desirable situation of competency development of administrators in schools under Khon Kaen Primary Education Service Area Office 5, overall in operations were at high level.
2. Needs PNImodified of strategy of competency development of administrators in schools under Khon Kaen Primary Education Service Area Office 5 , overall image were 0.51, showing percentage change from the status quo in terms of development to desirable condition that the value should be 51%. When considering the value as aspect found that the monitoring a\& evaluation at 0.71, showing percentage change from the status quo in terms of development to possible condition that the value should be 71%. In the participation in administration to international standard, the value was 0.56, showing percentage change from the status quo in terms of development to possible condition that the value should be 56%. In virtue and morality, the value was 0.55, showing percentage change from the status quo in terms of development to possible condition that the value should be 55%. In the strategic administration, the value was 0.52, showing percentage change from the status quo in terms of development to possible condition that value should be 52%. The average in rest of them were lower , meaning that no needs for development anyway.
3. The strategy of competency development of administrators in schools under Khon Kaen Primary Education Service Area Office 5 were 8 strategies as Strategy 1 : Moitoring & Evaluation , Strategy 2 : Participation in Administration to International Standard, Strategy 3: Virtue & Morality, Strategy 4 : Strategic Administration, Strategy 5 : Change Management, Strategic 6 : Solution & decision together, Strategy 7 : Leadership in Knowledge Management, Strategy 8 : Professional in Human Resource Management.
